Learning some special camping recipes is a great way to spice up a rather boring outdoor evening. The cool thing is that it’s nothing special. All you have to do is use what you have in your bug-out bag.

1. Hobo, ham and egg combination

No camping would be complete without the ubiquitous ham-and-egg partnership. However, this tandem could get a little boring, right? Good thing we found a way to spice up this old recipe.

You just have to chop the leftover ham and then sauté them on garlic and onions. After a few minutes, pour a cup of beaten eggs into it, then add a little salt and pepper. Cook it until cooked and you have a meal that even Jack Kerouac would hitchhike for.
