These are some of the questions that you might be asking yourself. The reason is that you have a habit of buying what you want to eat, as well as as as little as possible for the next week.

Five Easy Steps to Build the Ultimate Survival Food Kit
Step 1: Decide the purpose of your survival kit
To determine your primary purpose for having a feed set, you need to ask yourself some questions. Is the primary use of your meal kit for an emergency or condition that limits you at home? Do you take the meal kit with you to a car so you can grab it and go?
Is the kit designed to be stored in your car in case of an emergency? Are you able to feed your family for a few days or weeks?
Step 2 – Choose the best storage location for your survival kit
Once you’ve decided what your grocery kit is for, you can decide where your groceries will be stored in your home. It is important to consider the size of your food supply. This will affect your storage options and how long it can last.
Your car is small and therefore a 6-month supply of groceries will not fit. Also, it is unlikely that you would need to store so many groceries in your car.
Your survival food kit’s storage space can make a big difference in how long the food will last. Food should be stored in cool, dry areas that are not exposed to direct sunlight. This will ensure that it lasts as long as possible. You should find a place in your home that meets these requirements. Also, ensure there is enough space to store your kit and food.
Step 3 – Collect food or buy food to make your survival food kit

Step 5 – Take out and make your survival food kit.
It is important to remember to replace expired foods with newer supplies when you update your survival food kit. It is easiest to take food from your kit and immediately replace it. Keep only what you and your family eat in your kit.
To ensure proper rotation, you should always eat the oldest foods first. While it is tempting to choose one item from the set based on your mood, you should avoid this temptation and select the oldest foods that are near the end of their lives first.
